Joe Kuruvilla, The New CEO of Raymond Lifestyle

Indian textile company Raymond has informed on 12 October 2020 about their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Raymond Lifestyle, the company has appointed Joe Kuruvilla as the next Chief Executive Officer.

The company’s leading brand division that includes renowned names like Park Avenue, Parx, Colour Plus, Khadi and ethnix, this division of the Raymond are basically deals in textile and apparel.

The company has informed in a regulatory filing about the reinforcement of the Raymond Lifestyle management team with Joe Kuruvilla’s appointment as their Chief Executive Officer.

Joe Kuruvilla comes from Unilever, where he was taking care of their East Europe media and e-commerce and digital transformation team as a Vice President.

The company said that Ganesh Kumar, the Chief Operating Officer will be reporting to Joe Kuruvilla and they both will be working to execute the recent transformation agenda of the organization as it arises during the lockdown in the country because of the Covid-19 global pandemic.

Kuruvilla’s primary responsibility will be to drive strategy, vision for Raymond Lifestyle, and its product portfolio enhancement, he will be also focusing on global market development.

Joe will be also responsible for the digital acquisition and alignment of arising needs of consumers, while the omnichannel distribution, enhanced process alignment, internal organization, and driving operational efficiencies responsibility will be taken care by Ganesh Kumar, in addition to these roles he will also be leading garmenting and fabrics businesses.

Raymond is very positive about their growth after the global pandemic hit the market and expecting Joe Kuruvilla’s leadership and his experience will help them to grow on a high level and to achieve the future goals of the organization.
