Rahul Tewatia and young Riyan Parag pull yet another win for the Royals, they both came to bat when Rajasthan Royals were in a critical situation and took the match till the last over to get an unbelievable win for the team. Rajasthan batsman did not get a good start and struggled to score against the Sunrisers, Rahul Tewatia looks confident and hit three boundaries on the inexpensive Rashid Khan.
The match played in Dubai, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first, captain David Warner started the Hyderabad’s inning with Jonny Bairstow and gave a good start but Bairstow lost his wicket to young fast bowler Kartik Tyagi after scoring 16 runs in 19 balls. Manish Pandey and warner batted carefully to took Sunrisers to a respected score but Warner misses Archer and gave him his wicket.
Manish Pandey scored a brilliant half-century, he scored 54 runs on 44 balls and a quick 22 by Williamson helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to get a total of 158 with the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs.
Rajasthan came out with a target of 159 and did not get a good when Ben Stokes playing his first IPL 2020 match got out scoring just 5 on Khaleel Ahmed and Jos Buttler was the second wicket of Ahmed, he scored 16 runs. Captain Smith and Samsun got out cheaply scoring 5 runs and 26 runs respectively.
Robin Uthappa was flop again but Parag and Rahul Tewatia took the match close till the last over and a six from Riyan Parag on the second last ball of the last over gave two points to Rajasthan Royals and took them on the 6th position on the points table. Rahul Tewatia was awarded man of the match for his match-winning performance, he scored 45 runs in 28 balls.
