IPL team Delhi Capitals has announced that Pravin Dubey, the Karnataka leg-spinner is going to replace Amit Mishra in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2020.
Amit Mishra got injury while taking a catch on his own bowling during Delhi Capitals game against Kolkata Knight Riders earlier in the tournament. The experienced leg-spinner, Mishra has went through a surgery on his bowling hand and now out of the team recovering from the same.
Pravin Dubey is currently in UAE and helping the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as a net bowler, so it should not be difficult for him to join the DC.

Dubey will be joining Delhi Capitals (DC) and this is going to be his second team in the IPL, before DC he was picked by Royals Challengers Bangalore in 2016 edition of IPL but was unable to get a game to play in the two seasons he was part of RCB. Pravin Dubey has performing consistently on the domestic circuit.
Amit Mishra, who has given excellent performance for Delhi Capitals in the current IPL, and in his absence Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin stepped up and performed for DC. The leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is also part of the Delhi team and he has not got a game to play in the ongoing IPL can also be an option for the Capitals. Sandeep had an excellent season in the Caribbean Premier League.
Pravin Dubey, the 27 years old Karnataka boy may not get an immediate opportunity to be a part of playing XI but he can play an important role in the last stage of the tournament as the wickets will be getting even more slow and will be helping spinners.
